Last week a got an email with the title above.
The email said this:

A copyright owner has claimed it owns some or all of the audio content in your video I'm An Asshole: Crackdown style. The audio content identified in your video is Asshole by Denis Leary. We regret to inform you that your video has been blocked from playback, due to a music rights issue.

Now that's a load of crap. What harm was my video doing? If anything it was making the song more popular than anything else. I'm sure the artist wouldn't have minded their song being used in such a creative way! It's not like I didn't give credit! There are shitloads of videos on Youtube using copyrighted material (some not even giving credit) and they don't get removed!
As for that Audio Swap thing, that doesn't help me, the whole point of my video was that it went with the song.

Seriously, the "third-party" whoever they may be have a serious stick up their arse and must think that me using a comedic song in a creative way on the Internet (And not making money from it) is SERIOUS BUSINESS.
Even the other decent ones have been deleted too. But some others still remain, what's the difference? How is that fair?

And now when I try to put the video up it somehow knows straight away what video I'm putting up and I get that email again. How the hell is that possible?
Well, I doubt they'll ever read this but, whoever that "third-party" is, I have one thing to say to you: Fuck you!
